Tools and Tech I recommend
Technology allows you to do incredible things in your business. It can help you streamline and automate so you can save time and create more freedom in your life.
I've been in business for over 10 years, and there are a bunch of tools and systems I teach and swear by. You'll find a snapshot of those below.
Full transparency, I'm an affiliate for some of these, so I may receive a small commission at no cost to you if you purchase through my link. But just know, I only ever recommend platforms I love and use myself.
Membervault
Membervault is my go-to platform for creating and selling online courses, memberships and programs. I love that you can create a new offer to sell within just a few hours. It really is that easy!
Membervault is feature rich, allows you to gamify the experience for your customers and the creators are very open to feedback. Which means they're constantly updating the platform based on what its users want to see.
New Zenler
New Zenler is hands down the platform I recommend for those just getting started with online courses, programs or memberships. It's more affordable than Membervault, but is just as robust.
If you're on a budget and need a more accessible platform, New Zenler is my best choice.
ThriveCart
ThriveCart is my favourite platform for taking payments online. It allows you to create seamless and beautiful check out pages to increase sales on your website. It integrates with Stripe and Paypal easily, and you can add upsells, downsells and order bumps to increase the value of every customer that buys from you.
Sociamonials
Sociamonials is my social media scheduler of choice. It's more affordable than many other 3rd party schedulers out there. It has evergreen functionality, which means you can automatically reshare the same content again and again. You can share across many different social channels in a click, and automate posting daily themes to your Facebook groups. Use my coupon code: BTLG for a 10% discount.
Canva
Canva is the tool I recommend for quickly whipping together visual branding for your business. Whether that's for your website, business cards, brochures, or social media. It's super intuitive and you don't need any design skills to get started.
Pet Business Canva Pack
If designing graphics isn't your strong point, these Canva templates by Hazel Skye Designs are epic. They're made for pet business owners and are fully customiseable. All you need to do is swap out the text and images, and add your logo, brand fonts and colours. This Canva pack allows you to share professional quality images with your audience on social media, easily.
Mailerlite
Mailerlite is my go-to email marketing tool. Not only does it have a free version to make it more accessible to people getting started, but it's also a lot more affordable than other platforms when you do start paying. Mailerlite allows you to easily send emails and nurture your subscribers automatically. It's free up to 1000 subscribers and all Mailerlite's features are unlocked immediately, unlike other platforms.
Thrive Suite
I wouldn't be without Thrive Suite for all things websites. This is a tool-rich solution to build a website that looks incredible and is optimised to convert visitors into buyers. Their range of Wordpress plugins allow you to create beautiful drag and drop website pages, build quizzes, use scarcity marketing, generate leads, build courses and so much more! It's a brilliant solution for Wordpress websites.
Trello
Trello is the tool I recommend for digital planning and organisation. I plan everything in Trello, from my weekly social media posts, and course outlines, to my weekly to do list and content for launches. Trello helps you project manage many tasks in your business, and it also has easy team integration too.
Tailwind
Tailwind is my platform of choice specifically for scheduling to Pinterest. It was originally made for Pinterest scheduling which is why it has the edge over any other scheduling tool available. You can schedule pins easily through the Chrome extension, they have a smart loop feature to set your posts on evergreen and it's own community feature for sharing pins.
Zapier
Zapier takes top spot for integrating platforms. It allows you to streamline your entire operations even further. For example, I use Zapier to connect my payment system Thrivecart, with my course platform Membervault. So whenever someone buys a course through Thrivecart, they're then added to the correct course on Membervault immediately. It helps remove a lot of manual work to save time.
Tidio
Tidio is a fantastic live chat tool that features across my entire website. It means I can give my visitors an easy way to reach out to me and ask questions in the moment.
Zoom
Zoom is my tool of choice for holding meetings and coaching calls. This allows you to serve your clients online and have face to face conversations with your audience and clients. It also integrates easily with Calendly. So when someone books through Calendly, it'll automatically create a meeting in Zoom and send the link via email to the person that booked.
Calendly
Calendly is the platform I recommend for allowing people to book in for a call seamlessly. All you need to do is share the link, then that person can book a date and time that suits them. You can then set up confirmation emails that are automatically sent to the person and scheduled in your calendar. You can also set up group events for multiple people to book a slot at one time.
Streamyard
Streamyard is my favourite tool for live streaming on social media. It also allows you to stream across up to 8 platforms at the same time! It has easy features for sharing your screen and for streaming live with other people. Plus it has branding options to include things like your logo and banners on screen too.
Google Docs
Google Docs is a fab platform for creating all kinds of material for your business. Think of it like a cloud based Microsoft office. You can create simple documents, spreadsheets, presentation slides, forms and more.
You can spice them up and add branding, and share the files with whoever you like. It's a great solution for creating marketing material and resources for existing clients.
Jotform
Jotform is my go-to tool for creating surveys and forms. It's brilliant for market research purposes and getting feedback from your audience or customers. And it's also great for creating questionnaires for new and existing customers. It has a drag and drop functionality and is remarkably easy to create forms. You can customise the forms to suit your brand and you can view responses easily.
Loom
Loom is a great tool for easily creating videos for your business. I use it in my business to create training material and presentations for my clients. I also use it to send personalised welcome videos for new clients. It's a great option for having a place to store all videos for your business in their secure library. You can embed the videos in other platforms if you're selling courses etc, and you can easily share the link to that video with anyone you choose.
